All new 3-in-1 shock caps allow assembly in 3 different configurations – emulsion / rebound / zero rebound, to match shock dampening characteristics to various driving styles and different track conditions.
The Emulsion configuration uses an O-ring to seal cap to body, mixing oil and air inside the shock. Typically provides excellent traction on a variety of surfaces and is suggested as a starting point for most typical track conditions.
The Rebound alternative using the cell membrane is best matched to lower traction and flat slippery tracks. This shock set-up has the most rebound out of the three build options.
The Zero Rebound configuration created by using the ribbed membrane is better suited for super bumpy tracks. This set-up has no rebound.

Front C-hubs were specially developed for the GT on-road platform. After extensive tests of various caster angles, the final 6° caster block was selected as the best choice to work in the wide range of racing conditions found at GT events.
The C-hub geometry significantly improves steering characteristics over the previous 16° hubs. The reduced caster angle also helps to reduce tire wear, creating more consistent handling during longer main events.
The steering blocks feature steering Ackermann plates that improve corner entry steering by increasing the outside wheel angle. Machined from graphite, the plates are easy to mount to the steering blocks for replacement or adjustment.
The shorter front and rear upper camber links match the rear hub graphite camber extensions and front and rear inner camber link positions to make the car more reactive in front and provide more rotation from the rear suspension.
The servo saver features conical spring that is longer and stronger. The spring ensures more precise steering and improved reliability.
The servo saver posts feature locking system that keys into the chassis plate to ensure the servo saver setting will not change while running.
To improve servo saver reliability (especially in dusty conditions), it is moulded from a graphite material that is more resistant and efficient in dusty conditions. The dual-arm steering system is simple yet effective, featuring an integrated easily adjustable servo saver, and a Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum steering plate.
Ackermann is easily adjusted by changing steering link mounting positions on the steering plate. Bump steer is adjusted by inserting shims between the steering plate and steering linkage.
A smaller gear adapter works with 45T, 46T, and 47T spur gears, offering an expanded range of ratios to match the gearing requirements for maximum motor performance.
Differential main gears are manufactured from HUDY Gear Steel on a precision manual gear machine. The material was specially formulated and developed for use in gears. All gears are hardened to provide the longest possible lifespan.
GTXE includes a molded electronics plate that is positioned next to the steering servo. The ESC, receiver and transponder are all installed on this plate for easy removal and maintenance.
The new saddle pack layout features tweak-free split battery holders to secure the packs. These battery holders will fit both standard and ‘shorty’ packs, with the shorty packs allowing additional weight balance control by shifting them front/back in the holders.
The E-concept layout uses a forward motor position and saddle pack batteries. The motor is placed in front of the center differential, opposite the steering servo, with split, saddle pack batteries in the rear. The split packs lay flat in the holders, reducing the CG compared to taller brick pack layouts. The motor has better cooling in the front location, and the split batteries also maintain lower temperatures during each run.
The motor is connected to a mounting plate, with the assembly then inserted into an integrated motor holder/drivetrain support. The design of this system allows quick & easy motor rotation to adjust gear mesh, and then clamping into position to prevent further movement.
The motor mount is machined from Swiss 7075 T6 and is 2mm wider for improved durability.
Both front and rear suspension arms are now softer than the previous GTX kits. In comparison to the extra-hard suspension arms included in previous GTX kits, the latest GTX features Medium front and Hard rear suspension arms. This combination of arms helps to increase traction in every track conditions.
Aluminum suspension arm extensions create geometry specific for the needs of the GT category. The shock extensions increase stability and improve the corner speed.
Longer front & rear shock shafts are now +3mm longer for increased set-up possibilities and to allow more suspension travel.
The shock caps feature 4 bleed holes for easier building and more precise rebound control. Multiple shock membrane choices are available to tune the suspension to a wide variety of track conditions.
Oversized big-bore shocks featuring 16.2mm I.D. shock bodies are externally threaded with an adjustable collar for quick & easy spring preload adjustment. The shock bodies are hardcoated in a titanium color and feature a 1-piece alu shock cap.
Ultra-precise shock pistons feature 6-, 8- and 10-hole options. The big-bore pistons are molded from tough, well-proven Delrin® material for smooth action and durability. The precision molding production process ensures perfect piston roundness after production, so that the pistons move super-smoothly inside the shock bodies for identical, perfect action in all shocks.
The shock springs were specially developed for GT on-road racing. XRAY shock springs are manually measured, selected, and matched into pairs to guarantee precisely equal length and damping characteristics.
Ultra-lightweight 17mm wheel hex drive hubs are CNC-machined from Swiss 7075 T6 black-coated aluminum. GTX includes +2mm off-set both front and rear.
